Aren’t You Forgetting Someone?

We’re serving Gratitude all this month at Tapa Palapa.

This week’s special is amplifying your thankfulness by remembering to plan some “me” time.

Since holiday celebrations are communal in design, and since holiday schedules usually include spending a lot more time with other people than we typically do, it’s easy to overlook self-care and rejuvenation. Francie and Steve discuss ways to include personal celebration time in your holiday schedule and show you how it can make your celebrations with other people more meaningful.

You’ll notice that we found a way to add some bumper music to the podcast! We think this tune captures the spirit of Tapa Palapa pretty well. What do you think?

Please tell your friends about Tapa Palapa and invite them to sign up by RSS feed or by e-mail. After you listen to the episode please leave a comment or ask a question below.

The book Steve mentioned is How To Talk So Kids Will Listen And Listen So Kids Will Talk by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. You can read a series of articles Steve wrote based on this book by clicking here.
